Catherine + Sam

Catherine and Sam had to postpone their big wedding due to the pandemic, but they still got married on May 31st, 2020 in the most charming, intimate setting.

They chose to book a weekend at the airbnb villa, Monteventoso. The estate looked straight out of Italy, tucked away in the mountains of Virginia. While they were sad about not being able to celebrate with their guests, they made the best of it by creating a memorable and joyful experience by having a weekend getaway to elope and honeymoon.

One of my favorite moments was witnessing Catherine and Sam’s genuine reactions as they saw each other for the first time. They had their family tuned in on Zoom for the ceremony, first dance, and toasts. They swayed to Coming Home by Leon Bridges on back lawn and while their family looked on through an iphone.

After the first dance they celebrated with a beautiful champagne set, and walked all around the blooming villa grounds for their portraits. It was a huge honor to be a part of their meaningful day.

Make sure to watch the video at the bottom of the post to hear their sweet vows! Andi captured the day in video so beautifully.
